Q: How much planning will you do with me, prior to my wedding?

A: At the bare minimum, your Wedding Entertainment Coordinator will spend several hours planning your wedding with you. The actual amount of time varies from one client to the next, depending on how much assistance that you need or desire.

Q: What will the DJ and Emcee wear at my wedding?

A: The level of formality in dress code is entirely up to you. At a minimum, River Valley Wedding personnel will not wear any of the following to your wedding; sneakers, sandals, jeans, shorts, t-shirts, sweatshirts or baseball caps. Business Casual dress code consists of dress shoes, khakis and a polo or golf shirt. Suit & Tie dress code consists of dress shoes, dress pants, dress shirt and tie (Emcee will also have a dress jacket). Formal dress code will consist of a full tuxedo.

Q: Will your equipment compliment my wedding?

A: Yes. All equipment used by River Valley Weddings is carefully mounted in protective cases that both hide the multitude of wires as well as maintaining a very orderly and clean work area. You will actually see very little equipment to clutter up your atmosphere, pictures, videos and memories.

Q: How will you go about coordinating activities at my wedding?

A: During the detailed planning process, River Valley Weddings will get a very specific feel for your wedding and knows that it is extremely important to communicate this with all of your other wedding vendors or service providers. Prior to your wedding day, your Wedding Entertainment Coordinator will contact all of your various service providers to begin open communication. In summary, once you have made your plans and music selections, your wedding will not deviate from that plan. Before each event, all of your service providers will be given notification of the pending activity; so that everyone is in the right spot at the right time.

Q: Will you remain behind your equipment or will you be out interacting with my guests?

A: Typically, you will have a two person entertainment team, one will monitor the equipment, play music, etc. while the Emcee will take care of announcements, coordinating efforts with your other wedding vendors as well as interacting with you and your guests in casual conversation, taking music requests, etc.
